Dr. Sumeet Kaur Madaan

Dr. Sumeet Kaur, Assistant Professor at PIMS Jalandhar, has more than 3 years of experience as a psychiatrist. Dr. Sumeet then worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist at District Hospital, Kapurthala, where she worked extensively in the field of de-addiction and management of substance use disorders. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences.

Dr. Kaur is dedicated to providing holistic mental healthcare through a balanced combination of behavioural interventions and evidence-based pharmacological treatment.  Her treatment philosophy emphasizes not only symptom relief but also improvement in overall emotional wellbeing, coping skills, interpersonal functioning, and quality of life.

Being fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi, she can communicate effectively with patients from a variety of geographical areas. She is known to render counselling to her patients and their caregivers.
