Dr. Rajneesh Kumar

Dr. Rajneesh Kumar is Professor and Head of the Department of Surgery at Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Jalandhar, with over 35 years of experience in the field of general surgery.

He served in the State Health Services for nearly 22 years as a General and Laparoscopic Surgeon before joining PIMS in 2012. Over the years, he has developed extensive expertise in laparoscopic surgeries and the management of a wide range of surgical conditions, including hernia, gallbladder stones, appendicitis, hysterectomies, haemorrhoids, cystectomies, fissure, fistula, varicose veins, cancer surgeries, trauma cases, and other emergency procedures. 

Fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, Dr. Rajneesh ensures effective communication and compassionate care for patients from diverse geographical and cultural backgrounds.

Master of Surgery in General Surgery (1991) - Govt. Medical College & Rajindra Hospital, Patiala
